Participants found the way her sharing clinical knowledge is concise and informative and were impressed by a challenging client she presented in the webinar. Participants were asking about whether her book is coming out in the Mandarin version and would love to know more about trauma and eating disorders from her book.

Staying Grounded and Safe Between Sessions: PTSD Recovery
Join Shari Botwin, LCSW, as she uses PTSD case studies from her practice to demonstrate manageable solutions for patient and clinician between sessions. Participants of this course will learn about common symptoms of PTSD, coping strategies, and identify multiple grounding and containment techniques. This course will also help clinicians recognize when it is appropriate to halt outpatient treatment and refer to higher levels of care. This workshop will center around trauma based in domestic violence, childhood abuse, sexual assault, sudden loss, combat, natural disasters, and gun violence, but will be applicable to all therapists working with patients who have survived trauma.
